HURRICANE & TROPICAL STORM BINDING INFORMATION
HURRICANE & TROPICAL STORM BINDING AUTHORITY
The official Hurricane Season is from June 1st through November 30th. The guidelines are in effect not only during the normal season, but whenever a threat is present.
Many of our seasonal insured’s will soon be leaving to return to their primary residences. In order to avoid water damage claims during their absence, please take a moment to advise your insured’s to turn off the water valves coming into their homes. A few simple precautions can eliminate damage and other problems upon their return. The Insurance Industry is looking to adopt exclusions for water damage when the insured is negligent. Please help us minimize these situations as this will benefit us all.
